Paestum Wine Festival 2012 – 1 and 2 July 2012
Chiarofiore 2010: best White Wine entered at the Paestum Wine Festival.

During the event, a panel of judges, led by the world champion sommelier – Luca Gardini – blind tasted wines on show to select the best white, sparkling, rosé and red wines.
A considerable satisfaction!

Luca Maroni – Best Wines 2012
What a delight to receive compliments from an internationally renowned expert!

unia: “An excellent Chiarofiore Toscana Bianco 2010 that is superbly extracted, with full and round solarity of both aroma and taste. In the mouth Tunia has a splendid soft/tannic souplesse. The Chiassobuio Toscana Rosso 2008: a truly delightful caramel of black cherry and very harmonious. Congratulations.”

Chiassobuio 2008: “the winning stake of this wine is the round softness of its flavour, and the fragrant intensity of its aroma. The tannin is well balanced and there are flavours that tend away from  concentrated fruit or  fruit skins, but rather suggest the intense sweetness  of  the plump flesh of black cherries or very fresh cherry. In the palate you appreciate the thickness and power , thanks to the  density to touch and the glycerinous viscosity on contact, as well as the heat and vigour with which the velvety  softness of the taste envelops the mouth”

Chiarofiore 2010: IP:84

Luigi Veronelli – I Vini di Veronelli 2012
Let’s start with the fantastic  88 that flattered and encouraged us!

Chiassobuio 2008: In the guidebook for the first time with a score of 88/100

Touring Editore – Vinibuoni d’Italia 2012 – Section “wines not to be missed”
A wine not to be missed! Thank you.

Chiarofiore 2010: “An encouragement for this young (both as regards its creation and the age of those running it) firm from the Arezzo area. To start with there is an excellent white, Trebbiano and Vermentino, which is a pleasure to drink; fragrant and with good flesh”.

Gambero Rosso – Vini d’Italia 2012
At our first year both wines get into the guide: Chiarofiore 2010 is awarded “two glasses” at its first appearance !

Tunia: “A young and dynamic firm from the  Val di Chiana, that has an unusual  white for this region, based on Trebbiano and Vermentino. The nose is white flowers and dried fruit, with hints of citrus. The palate is sapid, lively, fresh and with a pleasant finish. The Chiassobuio ’08 is a good wine from Sangiovese with a small addition of and Colorino and Canaiolo”.

Chiarofiore 2010: 2 glasses
Chiassobuio 2008: 1 glass

TigullioVino – April 2011
A number of months have passed and the wine has resettled …

A young company that knows how to communicate its territory through the careful use of vines and skillful work in the cellar. Good both white and red, with a preference for the latter at present, focusing especially on  its earthy expression and already very pleasant to drink but with still a long way to go. The higher percentage of Trebbiano makes the white slightly less composed and it still needs a few months to smooth a slight edginess, but  it  is already quite pleasant to drink. Congratulations for the commitment and efforts made so far, that will undoubtedly bring great results in the future. Keep it up!

Chiarofiore 2010: 16/20
Chiassobuio 2008: 18/20
